You can bet on how many people will respond letting you know you have a dumb question.

You could take any sports bet that employs a point spread, such as an NBA game.

For instance, take Toronto at Dallas, with a point spread of 6 1/2, Dallas favorite. If you bet on Dallas, and your friend takes Toronto, then you win the bet only if Dallas wins by 7 points or more. Your friend wins the bet otherwise.

You can use some online source to get the latest point spreads used in Vegas. It’s pretty much a fair bet whichever side you take, unless you’re a genuine sports expert and your friend isn’t. Best of all, you don’t have to pay a bookie. Watch the game, have some fun, and argue over every play. You could even just flip a coin before the game to decide who gets Dallas, to make it a really fair bet.

Of course, you could just bet on the coin flip itself, but that’s not any fun at all.

Make a bet that you’ll live longer than he will. Just make sure you put a clause in there, stating that if he kills you; he’s disqualified.

All kidding aside, here’s a true story: My uncle made a bet like this with my aunt (his wife). The terms were actually listed in their wills. Whoever died first, their side of the family got cut completely out of the will. Unfortunately for me & my siblings, he died first, leaving over a million bucks to her, which; in accordance with the wills, went to her side of the family when she died two years later.
