In betting on NFL football with a bookie, how much money does each “time” represent?

If you call a bookie and say “I want the Colts to cover, 10 times”, how much money is that?

    Are you sure it isn’t “dimes” instead of “times”? If it’s dimes, then it means: Colts -3 for $10,000.

    Dime = thousand

    Could you mean ten DIMES? If so, $10,000 if you win, $11,000 if you lose… $10,000 Bet + $1,000 in vigorish (juice)

    I bet alot of football, and I have never heard the word “time” having anything to do with a bet. Like the other people said, I think you might mean dime. If you bet 10 dimes on the Colts against New England, you will win $10,000.00. I like the bet, go for it.
